If you find yourself in New York City and you have time for a day trip we recommend traveling a short distance to Brooklyn. Brooklyn Heights and Williamsburg are two neighborhoods that are a peaceful retreat from the bustling city.  Be sure to walk along Brooklyn Heights Promenade for a stunning view of Manhattan and to gaze at the historic mansions that line the promenade. After your stroll, head to Chez Moi on Atlantic Avenue to refuel with divine French fare.

In Williamsburg we recommend lunching at Parish Hall and then heading to Grand Street for a little shopping. One of our favorite stores was Whisk. A New York based culinary supply shop that you can get lost in for hours. You won’t find Trapp there but you will find everything culinary, beautiful linens, and oddly inventive kitchen tools you’ll discover you can’t live without.

When traveling to New York City you’re likely to become overwhelmed with the long list of attractions you feel required to see. But one of the most enjoyed pleasures of New York City is, of course, the shopping. Manhattan’s marketplace is a blend of styles, peoples, colors, fragrances and beyond. Each store has a unique vibe that introduces you to new ideas and designs in the form of personal care products, home décor, jewelry and more. We proudly stand behind each of the following shops and encourage you to take on the adventure of seeing these destinations for yourself.
